Now that paint is all done it's time for final assembly. There
is a little strake for the vertical stabilizer that goes on top of the
dorsal fin. It helps stiffen the stab. |

The gear leg fairings took forever to trim so they would fit.
This side took 4 hours, while the other took about half that, now that I
had practice. |

The fuel pump was mounted fully floating. Between the fuel
lines and a few cable ties, it is very secure. |

Starter is on, and wired up. EGT sensors and most of the rest
of the engine wiring is done. It's almost ready to start up. |

After a long day of assembly, the tailfeathers are on and hooked up. |

This LSS tail is much bigger than the standard Challenger. |

NOW it's starting to look like a finished plane. Streamlined
strut fairings are in the foreground. They were just painted and
are ready for installation. |
