Standard EIS - Ideal for 2-strokes

The Typical Two-Stroke Package will include:

Extras recommended will be16' of CHT and EGT extension wires (Probes come with 4' leads attached.  Challengers-style ULs  wil need an additional 8' each), as well as pre-wired connectors (saves the headache of soldering tiny wires into connectors.  Well worth it).

Low Pressure Sensor -- 0-15psi range for fuel or coolant pressure. Will let you know if the pump has failed.   $35

Pictured below are the combination pages for the Standard EIS. Note that the second page displays both EGTs and CHTs.

Altimeter/VSI Option -- $149
  • Altimeter - 10' resolution updated 2 times per second.
  • Vertical Speed - 100 fpm resolution - 6 sec updates
  • Unlike mechanical altimeters, this is unaffected by vibration and remains accurate year after year

This option provides a perfect solution for the 2-stroke powered aircraft. The altimeter display is steady (does not toggle back and forth between readings), is accurate to better than 10' per 1000', is practically unaffected by temperature, and requires no warm-up. The vertical speed function is sensitive enough to detect 10' changes in altitude, making it perfect for chasing thermals around the sky. The combination pages are rearranged to include altitude on both, and ROC on the first while retaining all engine information on both. The altimeter is adjustable to match your field elevation.

Below are the combination pages when the Altimeter/VSI option is included. Note that RPM and altitude appear in the same position on both pages
